Than Shwe is the head of the triumvirate currently ruling Burma. As yet unconfirmed reports say he may have been deposed.September 27, 2007 - With rumours of Burma's military supremo Senior General Than Shwe's family fleeing to a foreign country making the rounds, among Burmese people, a chartered Air Bagan flight was spotted in Laos' capital city of Vientiane, an eyewitness told Mizzima.
