Three United States soldiers were killed on Saturday in Kandahar Province, and three more were killed on Sunday in Wardak Province. Two Canadian soldiers were also killed Saturday in Kandahar, and a French soldier died Saturday after a gun battle with guerrilla forces north of Kabul.
It's been almost eight years since the first Americans went in to Afghanistan. How much longer before Mission Accomplished? Or, better yet, what is our mission?
