Letters From Earth

This morning at The Corner, without the slightest hint of irony Michael Rubin wrote this:

He is a bit like Khatami; he was part and parcel to the regime, but if he is going so far into opposition, that's good. Revolutions can't be purist and ignore all those once caught up. The umbrella has to be fairly large if there will be change. So, in short, a little trust, followed by a heck of a lot of verification.
He links to another NRO post that cuts and pastes this article in the NY Times which discusses the disagreements that Mehdi Karroubi has with the current government in Iran.

How many of the crowd at NRO, or anywhere on the Right for that matter, are self aware enough to see the irony of what Rubin wrote?
